We are thrilled to announce the newest Penny Jar Capital team member, Vrinda Agarwal, joining us as an Investor. Based in the Bay Area, Vrinda will focus on identifying and supporting founders in building the category-leading companies of the future.

Vrinda brings a strong foundation of investing experience from her time at Cota Capital and Canvas Ventures, during which she sourced and led investment diligence for early-stage companies across enterprise and fintech. Before her work in venture, she established an excellent investment foundation at Goldman Sachs and honed her product finance and strategy skills at Google Nest.

Born in India and raised in California, Vrinda found teamwork’s importance (and power) as a young athlete. She completed her undergraduate at the University of California, Berkeley, where she double majored in Political Science and Development Economics and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School (HBS). Vrinda actively creates opportunities for the next generation of female entrepreneurs, from establishing 100 Strong, a non-profit supporting young women, to her leadership work with HBS Alumnae Circles.

Vrinda’s financial acumen, experiences, and insight will strengthen Penny Jar Capital in every way. What’s more, the qualities we see in her – imagination, curiosity, and determination – are the same we see in the founders we back. Please join us in welcoming Vrinda to the team as we embark on the next chapter of Penny Jar Capital.
