Vrinda Agarwal

Investor

As an investor and mentor to young entrepreneurs, I’ve seen what can be achieved when future leaders – of all backgrounds – find complementary partners. At Penny Jar, we help founders navigate the challenges and opportunities of building a business so they can grow into the leaders we know they can be.

Vrinda is focused on helping Penny Jar Capital identify and support the founders who are building the category-leading companies of the future.

Vrinda brings a strong foundation of early-stage investing experience from her time at Cota Capital and Canvas Ventures, during which she sourced and led investment diligence for early-stage companies across enterprise and fintech. Before her work in venture, she established an excellent investment foundation at Goldman Sachs and honed her product finance and strategy skills at Google Nest. Vrinda holds an MBA from Harvard Business School (HBS) and completed her undergraduate at University of California, Berkeley where she double majored in Political Science and Development Economics.

Vrinda was born in India and raised in California, where she learned the importance of teamwork and leadership, both as an athlete and nationally-ranked debater. Vrinda is committed to empowering and mentoring women, including serving on the HBS Alumnae Circles’ leadership board in San Francisco and through her non-profit, 100 Strong.
